Hi,
When I select any file in the X2, and then call local (app) menu and select from it "Send to", e.g. "My documents", after a file is copied, x2 will popup a warning saying "The Target can not handle this kind of file" (approximate translation from my language). I have XP SP2.
When I use regular Windows Explorer, this mistake does not occur. Hence, problem lies in the X2.
I would appreciate this fixed. v1.4 has this same problem, same as v1.3. Although, I think some older versions did not have this problem, but I am not sure.
Regards,
Davor

I do not care about open/save boxes (actually, I do not understand what you mean by that term). I care about the situation I have described: I select a file (in the right, file pane) in the X2, call the local (app) menu of that file, select "Send to" and then e.g. "My documents" - a file is copied but x2 will popup a warning.nikos wrote:this is a windows bug, try it from any file open/save box and it will be the same
Windows Eplorer does not popup any warning in the same situation. So, I would dare to say it can not be a Windows bug if a Windows Explorer does not have it!
If you create a MyDocuments shortcut (I named it MyDocuments2) and send it to that shortcut instead of the "MyDocs Drop Target" the dialog does not show itself.
It looks like there's something 'special' with the MyDocs Drop Target type. Personally, I would love to be able to remove the MyDocuments listing in the SendTo without unregistering the mydocs.dll.
