Please add VISTA / XP style and/or customizable colored tabs. This will enhance active tab visibility. The current plain old school tab style is too hard to see.
Check out the XP style tab visibility difference. There is also no need for bold text in XP style tabs [even saving text space]. Note how the current gray tabs lack contrast against the GUI.

Hopefully xplorer2 has come far enough to start making such essential improvements soon.

I consider it essential because it speeds up active tab recognition by the user. Which saves a bit of time when there is a lot of tabs open.

If you customize the XP folders with their own icons the folders are easily distinguished in xplorer2.

I appreciate the suggestion but it's not practical to have users customize every single folder on a hard drive. Plus it doesn't help indicate ACTIVE tab. Tab visibility is something that should be improved on the browser's end.

The current bold text of the active tab also makes the tab size consistency issue even worse...

I hate to be a dummy, but how do you use and create the tabs? I can only find references to them in the help file.
Or, just point me to a thread or the proper page in the help file and I'll be happy.
Thanks,
Larry

Another reason why tabs should always be shown--for it to be easy to use. But for now, you can press Insert key.
