Needless to say that I'm sure you're all here to stay after discovering Nikos' little filemanager gem.
But which filemanagers did you kick into the trash-bin for it?
(Nikos, do you approve that discussion? If not veto now!)
Anybody here who even converted from the universally hailed WinCommander?
(Curiousity doesn't kill squirrels!)

Actually 2xExplorer lay on my harddisk unused for some months before I discovered this forum and read the help files properly. And now

used to be a Norton Commander (DOS) afficionado. Later switched to Servant Salamander and (short time) WinCommander.
Now definitely hooked on 2xExplorer.......

Before Win95, I used a Norton commander and another one I can't recall the name. But coming from Unix background, I'm a command prompt user, creating a bunch of batch files and small utilities. From Win95 on, I used Explorer. I tried WinCommander for a while, but never really click for me.
To make it short, I basically dump Explorer and power it up ^2 with 2xExplorer
