ALT+C only copies 8.3 filenames & paths with v1.8.0.1

Just downloaded and started using the latest version and discovered that clicking Alt+C on a filename only copies the 8.3 path, not the full path.

I have tried all the other various combinations of SHIFT/CTL/ALT and they all result in 8.3 filenames and paths only.

Is this a known bug?

I have no issues with this function at all. For me it copies the full path and name. However if I use Shift+Alt+C, it copies the 8.3 version.

Are you sure that your shift key in not stuck on or been eaten up by another process or program.?

I am using 1.8.0.1 and WinXP SP2

does your customize > keyboard menu for this command look like this or you have altered the keyboard bindings?

Thanks for your advice guys. I can't reproduce the problem since I rebooted my machine though!

I have a Windows 7 machine and was finding yesterday that whenever I did an ALT+C on a file that was on a remote shared folder and pasted the path into an email it would come out at 8.3 format.

I rebooted my machine this evening and now I cannot reproduce the problem...
