Disable Expansion of My Computer Tree

Each time I open xplorer2 the tree pane default is to expand the "My Computer" entry to show all of my local and network drives.  I'd like to avoid this - i.e., not expand the My Computer tree unless I click on it.  I've tried Save Settings and Save Folder Settings, but no luck.  The XP File Explorer does the same thing.

Any advice how to fix this?  Thanks.

if you don't need the tree expanded the only solution is to hide it altogether and hit <ctrl+T> whenever you need it
