On Win7 SP1 32-bit, xplorer 1.8.1.1
I have "Sort zip folders as files" enabled in advanced settings and WinZip (or ZipGenius, etc., it doesn't matter) installed as the default associated utility for opening zipfiles. If I right click on a zipfile in x2, "Open with WinZip" is the boldface default option. However, if I double-click the file, x2 opens it in the same window as a folder. How can I make it always launch the default associated app instead?
Thanks.

I use the default behaviour. Way to complex for me. Not really true, but I'm too lazy to do all that stuff and again if I reinstall something.nikos wrote:in particular for win7 you need

Is it an idea if the procedure for Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) is put into the configuration module?

I had unloaded the dll but had forgotten the registry change for W7. Thanks.nikos wrote:see this FAQ www.zabkat.com/x2faq.htm#B9
