Can't change where settings are saved

I'm using x2 Prof x64 and want to change the option from save settings to registry to ini file but that option is grayed out.

I also have Ult x64 installed and was able to change that option to ini.

I'd like to try out the new v3 but want to have settings saved as ini so it doesn't affect my other installations. How can I change the x2 to save as ini?

x2 pro can only save settings to the registry... that is one of the differences between pro and ultimate...

you can export your settings in pro to back them up so you could manually switch settings for different installations but it would get annoying
