Hi Nikos, I have a consistent crash with x2 when using the details pane and selecting an iso file, IF I have the Browsable Compressed Archives NSE program installed as well. It will only crash if I select the file and have the details pane open. Closing the details pane stops any crashing.
I got the ISO from here if you want to test it, not sure if it crashes on all iso files.
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/relea ... AGES/11.0/
After some testing, I found the following;
If I uninstall that specific program, it does not crash. I have checked the hash signature of the ISO file to make sure it is not corrupt, downloaded the Browsable Compressed Archives NSE program again and used the default details.htm file. Crashes every time.
If I unselect iso from the config of Browsable Compressed Archives NSE, it does not crash either.
I will send you the minidump file separately via email.
Got the latest x2 Pro 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit

Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
Hi Nikos, I downloaded this one
"FreeBSD-11.0-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso"
I can browse into the iso with the details pane off. As soon as I select the details pane again, whilst inside the iso, it crashes x2. But interestingly, whilst I'm browsing inside the iso, x2 is ok with the details pane off, as soon as I exit out of the iso file, x2 will crash again without the details pane on.
I'm came over to Cyprus in July, but with all of the running around visiting relatives etc, I couldn't get time to say hello. I'm coming over again in December, perhaps we'll meet up then if I can shoehorn in some spare time.

Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
this ISO is crashing x2 (7zNSE) because it is from Linux and it has case sensitive filenames, including names within the same folder (eg file1 and FILE1). At present these are considered the one and same file and are causing the crash
Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
Strictly it's BSD, not Linux, but I'll let you off on that technicality as the issue would affect both OS iso's.
Not knowing anything about ISO files, is there any signature that can be looked at to deduce it's for a Unix type system, and work around it?

no, i'll release a bugfix of the plugin later today
Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
So far, so good. No crashes reading inside the iso whether the details pain is on or off.
I notice that the 7z.dll was also updated to the latest version, bonus.
