I want to compare two folders that have identical subfolder structures (i.e. same number of subfolders, with same names) but within those the number and or sizes of files may differ. So I want to select pairs where the subfolder name matches but the size does not. Is there a way to do this?
It doesn't have to show me the files that are different although that would be nice too. Main thing is pick out the folders that match on name but not size.

Re: Compare on name and size
this must be done semi automatically, especially as you're using an older version. So the idea is open a dual scrap pane, drag-drop the first folder (root) in there with the right mouse button and choose "extract subfolders" from the menu. Repeat for the other folder structure. Then turn on the CONTENTS [S] column and see which folders differ. Turn on the mirrorscrolling to assist your comparison
