I have found the option: Natural number sort and activated it.
But IMHO some files sorting is not correct
In a directory I placed these files and this is the way X2 sorts them:
Full name
New File 1
New File 10
New File 11
New File 12
New File 2
New File 3
New File 4
New File 5
New File 6
New File 7
New File 8
New File 9
and for instance some other files are sorted in this way:
Full name
Versie 10 Giveaway
Versie 6
Versie 7 Giveaway
Versie 9
The sorting in Windows Explorer is correct
In X2 I always use details view in both panes
I wish I could post some pictures, but I don't know how.
Excuse my English, it's not my native language.
Windows 10 64 bit
Xplorer2 version 4 Ultimate
Thanks in advance for your support
Kind regards,
Peter

Re: Natural sort order
what you describe is the OPPOSITE of natural number sort, New File 10 should be at the end after 9
double check if natural number sort is ticked or not, and which column you sort by (must be NAME)
also things can get confusing depending on the folder sort mode (separate, mixed etc)

Re: Natural sort order
this can't/shouldn't be happening
please send me a snapshot of your xplorer2 window using the support email and I'll try to understand what is the case

Re: Natural sort order
Thanks for your email
"Problem" solvedThe “problem” is that you use Full name instead of Name.
Natural number sort is only applied for NAME sorting
If you turn on showing file extensions, then name and full name is the same. Use folder options (control panel) to show extensions for known file types
