Cannot create .xxx files

I think there is a bug in xplorer2 (Version 0.0.0.52). It is not possible to create files with filenames beginning with an period like: .profile
Also renaming to such a name is not possible!

this snag comes from windows
the easiest workaround is to use the dos "ren" command from the addressbar to change the filename
