Navigate multiple hits per file in Find in Files

Post by BradJ »

Hi,

When I search for text within multiple files I get a list of files and when I click on each file I can see the first hit in the file.
But I would really like to be able to navigate all hits within each file.

Is this possible.

Thanks in advance,
Brad.

if you press F3 (click in the previewer pane first) then xplorer2 will scroll to the next keyword hit
deskrule is a bit better hilighting ALL hits, if you search for multiple keywords

Sounds good, but not working for me.

I click in the Preview Pane which is already showing the first hit. I know there are two hits in this file.
If I move the cursor above the first hit and press F3 it fins and highlights it.

Hitting F3 doesn't find the next hit.
Is it because the end of the preview pane says (...more...) and its only going to search within the limited text shown in the preview pane?

if the file is too big, xplorer2 doesn't load all of it, so extra hits may exist but you don't see them
you can increase the TEXT PREVIEW SIZE from program options, and then you'll see more of the file and more hits (but wait longer to load them)
