Hi, Nikos,
On another forum, a user reported that he had had trouble using Xplorer² to create long file paths, with an unspecified error. I mentioned how you had it in X² for over 10 years now, so he went back and tested the latest 6.0.0.3 - 64-bit worked perfectly fine for him but 32-bit did not.
Is this a known issue with the 64-bit arch versus the 32-bit, and specifically with Windows APIs that each relies on to formulate file and path names? Or is it something else?
I will ask the user to get more info on how he tested and error msg(s) involved in the meantime.

Re: Long file paths
when creating long paths, there could be trouble at the crossover point where the path length exceeds 255 characters
at that point you can use CTRL+F2 to rename the semi-deep folder name (instead of F2 or when F8 creation fails)
from then on, you should be ok digging deeper
