Hello,
I was just wondering, how is it Xplorer2 correctly said?
I usually say "x two" or "explorer two", but is it "x square" or "explorer square?
It might be obvious for English speakers, but not so for foreing ones... I guess... or is it me that I'm completely nuts?
How is it correctly said Xplorer2?

My vote goes for "eks-plo-rer-two". I'm unsure if there can be a "correct way" though.

Re: How is it correctly said Xplorer2?
On the x2 title bar and on the web site it shows as xplorer² (xplorer superscript 2) so I have always thought of it as "xplorer squared"... but when I type x2 to refer to it in the forum I think "x 2" not "x squared"

So we are tied, it would be nice if our dear maker lights up our minds with his knowledge!
In the end he is the programmer, so he must know how he calls its beloved x2.

Personally, I pronounce it Beyoncé, but apparently that's not the official way to say it.

The correct pronunciation of "Xplorer2" is "Explorer Two." The name combines "Explorer" with a stylized "2" to represent the second version or iteration. It’s a popular file management software, known for enhancing productivity with advanced features. Pronouncing it this way keeps it clear and recognizable to users.

Since Nikos named it Xplorer², I've always referred to it as "Xplorer Squared" (and I've always supposed that this was intentional, as in it is not just another Explorer, but robust enough to be considered Explorer times Explorer), and abbreviate it as X² (and being the mathematician that I am, I take a little bit of geek pride in calling my fav fm "Ex squared" lol).
