You can't walk around with earmuffs on - that's ridiculous - does no one care about peripheral awareness anymore? Like, for crossing the street?

On a related note, I'm surprised more Germans don't kill themselves in Ireland when crossing the street. There's a campground out near where I live and when they all pile on the bus from the city-centre to the boondocks at night, the bus-stop out here is on the opposite side of the road from the facility. They all seem to make the assumption that all such stops are also pedestrian crosswalks - which they are definitely not, in this backward country - and you can always spot the Germans because they just walk in front of the bus to cross the road, never bothering to look in any direction, and seem affronted that other vehicles happily pass the stopped bus on the inside at great speed.

If it wasn't tragic, it'd be funny. You guys are like trained ducks who think that streetsigns matter. Add full-cover headphones to the mix, and you're just a walking skeet-shoot target wearing a t-shirt that screams "Please Run Me Over!"

P-e-r-i-p-h-e-r-a-l a-w-a-r-e-n-e-s-s, kids, it's for more than just 1st person shooters.

Periphery sucks when you walk through the city. In traffic I can easily see cars even when I don't hear anything.

I thought you'd recognize them by their unfunny remarks.
