That's probably just your man's way at getting back for the Win10'S'-Fork distro-snub. The WIn PE header for DLL's is really pretty simple, so I'm not surprised someone started playing around with it... though whether the odd errant NTFS function would find EXT4 sexually attractive or not is always one to watch...
