Looks like these are not reflected in Advanced Settings UI:

* registry option GAOPT_NOVISTAGLASS=1024, disable fancy selection bars etc in vista, make it look like XP
* registry option GAOPT_VISTADDICONES=2048 show images while drag drop (default=OFF since it crashes some vistas)
* registry option DPF_XPTABHILITE=32768 gives active tab an orange tinge like in XP

They show up in the settings editor.

The first 2 are under Global/General
The 3rd is under Layout Settings/Main Frame

Names aren't identical, so one must read for content (meaning).

The export settings option with "don't lock browsed folder" enabled is saving the reg file in the last folder set by the prelaunch cd rather than in the active folder.

Nikos, I turned off "vista glass" option in x2, but still have multiple selection problem with F7/F8 functions ("previous" file is still focused after creating the new one, so both are selected).

At first I couldn't find them either. Then I noticed I had two programs that has the name x2settings editor in it. Deleted the oldest one called Xplorer2settingsEditor.exe (dated january 2, 2007) and I'm using now X2SettingsEditor. That solved that problem. Probably the other one was a previous version?

the other was a beta release, for the then-existing x2 beta.

When I installed 1.7.0.3 I had it download the manual but I ended up with the same crappy graphics.
