Oh, one more: is it possible to choose whether you want to search WITH and WITHOUT extension? For example: regular click = search with extension; ctrl+click = search without extension?

Well, right now you only get a general choice when the menu is created for the first time - but it affects all searches.  (I figured the need to seek with extensions would be pretty rare.)

I'll do some experimenting and see if I can come up with a reliable means of doing it.  (It shouldn't be that difficult to check if Ctrl or Shift is held when the programme starts, but I don't consider that to be "reliable" - but, you never know.)

If not, the most reliable method would be to make individual providers always search with extension, while others do not.  This can be achieved simply by editing the registry at the moment, if need be, but again, it's "always on" or "always off".  I'll look into it.

P.S., for your blog, I wouldn't consider the "mirror" link to be reliable - it was just a once-off Megaupload thing that will die if no one uses it every few weeks.  In fact, it's just the original version at the moment anyway, so I wasn't planning on keeping it active.  The only reliable link would be this actual thread.

Well, mirror link is my personal Dropbox* account, so I think it is VERY reliable.

* if you register thru this link, both you and I will get additional 250MB of space on Dropbox servers.

Just as all lonely mewing lambs caught out on the cold Irish cliffs are in need of comfort (a hot-whiskey or a hot-brandy, preferably with cloves), the utility inspired by this thread was in need of a GUI (because I was bored), amongst a few other additions.  Its new permanent home may be found here.

P.S.  I should add that as this script is now exactly 709-lines longer than it technically needs to be, I might officially be in need of consultation regarding my mental stability.  At least I learned how to put icons in a listview control, so that's one small benefit...
