And developers who don't seem to fix the bugs they have - any particular reason you left the filterbar in scrap windows when disabled in the main window?  Your original workaround was good for a giggle, but you can't possibly expect anyone to accept that as being serious solution to world hunger...

scrap windows don't need an addressbar. So the simple solution is to turn off the addressbar altogether if as a result of a fetich you don't want to have a filterbar there

In this case I don't find the reason, why in the container window the address bar is by default enabled. A fetich?

So... you never typed in a path to an object to add it to the window?  And it's not a fetish - it's that the advanced settings option specifically states that 0 slays the beast in its lair... you don't want to follow your own rules?

you don't have to do that either, just press Ctrl+V to paste the text straight in the scrap. If there's an argument it is to abolish the addressbar in there in favor of the filterbox!

So when I paste a path in the addressbar and then edit it to include whole folders above the current target <Ctrl+V> does that too, does it?  Amazing command that <Ctrl+V>.

I can see why nikos associates fetishes to you, Kilmatead; let it be the "everything has to fit into one small dialog" fetish. Power through simplicity is the key.

(Also, the Greeks have more problems than the world hunger, right?)

They do indeed - especially when it comes to getting things done - considering that Nikos' wife obviously needs to whack him over the head at least once a week (or more!) with a frying pan to knock some sense into him, they must spend an awful lot of time and trouble bashing the pans back into usable shape just to get anything cooked!

I wonder if all the problems and bugs exist because she does.

Good point!  Nikos, can we have your head examined?  Like, professionally?  :D

Maybe planishing would already work?

I suspect he's lost enough hair that annealing would be more helpful initially.

Now that's intellectually undemanding. Well played.

Twice in one day!  What is this, Let's Celebrate German User Condescension Day?  :D  You lads just never stop to sniff the edelweiss, do you?  Just relax, and feel the world rotating beneath you.  No?  <Sigh>  I tried.  Just so you know, we're never going to pay our banking debts out of sheer spite, so you're going to have to actually go out and work for a living.
