Vertical Scroll Deesn't Work in a One Folder

Post by whbecker »

When I select the folder C:\Users\Master\AppData\Local\Temp (which has a lot of subfolders), I can view the top of the list (with"Home") or the bottom (with "End") but I can't get to the middle!   When I drag the scroll bar, it moves, the folder list moves, but about 1/2 second after I release the scroll bar, the view jumps to the top or bottom of the list, depending on where I started.  Using the up and down arrowheads in the scroll bar gives the same behavior.  It scrolls, but jumps back as soon as I release the arrowhead.

I have not seen this with any other folders and the specific folder listed above behaves normally in Windows Explorer.

Is this a known bug? Or do I have something set incorrectly?

Using xplorer2 Lite 2.2.0.2 on Windows 7 Professional.

Thanks!

this must be down to files changing in the folder while you scroll. Instead of using the scroll bar, press PageDown/Up keys to move the view within the folder

Yes, of course!  Those Temp file are churning all the time.  As you suggest, Page up and page down work fine for moving through this folder.

Thanks for your quick reply.
