Hi,
This is not exactly related to xplorer² but some of you might help.
A photographer friend of mine is contemplating buying an iPad to show off pictures to prospective buyers.
She wants to be able to transfer multiple photos in the .nef and .raw format from iPad to PC, and vice versa.
Does anybody have practical experience of doing this in xplorer²? Or Windows Explorer?
It seems transferring photos from iPad to PC is easy, but things get rather awkward the other way round.
What’s more, my friend would like to avoid using iTunes…
Thank you very much for any help.
Cheers,
Robert

Re: photo transfer from PC to iPad
My advice would be to jailbreak the ipad, then install openssh server on it. Cydia will help with this, it's fairly simple. Then you can use SSH/SCP to transfer files to the ipad over WiFi. No need for Itunes or even the cable. WinSCP has a dual pane interface a bit like xplorer2 which is nice.
If you are running iOS 6.1.3 (latest at the moment) then no jailbreaks are available, but in this case when 7.0 comes out later this year rumour has it a jailbreak should follow shortly (they are saving up some exploits for this version allegedly).
