Thumbs icon on desktop after having X2 replace Win Explorer

After trying X2 exclusively for the last few months, today I took the plunge and re-installed it, using the Replace Windows Explorer option when reinstalling.

This evening I noticed a Thumbs icon on my desktop, which I know wasn't there before. What setting in X2 should I check/uncheck to get rid of this icon? I don't want it there. I normally have "view system files/folders" enabled, but I do want to retain that option.

what's that icon and what makes you think xplorer2 put it there?

Its a goldish cylinder, that says Thumbs underneath it. The name of it is Thumbs.db.

I believe X2 "put it there" because I only saw it after I made X2 the default system folder handler yesterday. Regardless of whether X2 specifically placed it there (doubt it, it looks like a system icon for Windows of some type), the bottom line is that I'm sure there is an option that can be checked to remove it.

if it is a thumbs.db file, just delete it, it is a thumbnail cache
