Context menu Win7 64bit

Post by MrToad »

75% of the PC's I use daily [3/4] are 64bit Win7's...coincidentally 75% of new Win PC's are also 64bit http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/?platform=pc
So not being able to access some key apps like manual malware scanners [SuperAntiSpyware], and 7zip is really inconvenient.
Searching the forum I found fast explorer, but creating a customized context menu requires climbing a learning curve...I'm unwilling to make that climb.
I have used xplorer2 lite for awhile and like the look and feel because I'm used to it,
One option I found is to use the older [2009] version of Free commander which can be customized [settings] to be included in context menus that show up in xplorer2,,,so if one wishes to scan with malwarebytes or unzip with z7, select the file, open it in Free commander..then use FC's context menu to complete the operation. Free commander does play well with 64bit context menus.
Note that Free commander XE doesn't offer this ability to be included in other context menus...but It does offer a good array of features http://www.techsupportalert.com/BEST-FR ... ANAGER.htm ...takes a bit of customizing and getting used to for longer term xplorer2 users like moi.
If someone has any suggestions easier than fast explorer for enabling 64bit context menu support in x2, I''d be interest in exploring them...[pun intended].
Thanks
