Slow double-click to rename

I had Xplorer2 installed on this Win7 Pro 64 machine, and it worked great. I could slow double-click on a file, and it would highlight the entire file name for me, except for the file extension. We upgraded to a server system connected to this same PC and created a new profile on it. Now, when I slow double-click on a file it highlights the file name AND the extension. How can I change it back to only highlight just the file name and not the extension too?

Tools -> Advanced Options -> Layout Settings (Tab) -> F2 Rename selects whole name

Make sure it's un-checked. And the 'Name' column must be the first column in Details view. (Exactly why this second part is necessary I cannot say - it's just always been that way.)
