Hello -- I've long noticed that xplorer2's tree pane flickers every second or so; is there a setting somewhere to modify this behavio/ur (prevent it, make it less frequent), please..?
If it's due to polling to check whether e.g. anything removable has come or gone, can it be made manual rather than automatic..?
Apologies if I missed the solution despite some searching -- if so, please point me where to look.

Re: Tree pane flicker
the most reasonable explanation is that the tree refreshes very often. It looks like one of the folder you're browsing is getting changed again and again
Re: Tree pane flicker
Thanks for your prompt reply & apologies for delay before this acknowledgement.
After some more experimentation, I think I've (nearly) isolated the cause: either -- or both -- the program MiniBin or Windows (7)'s wmiprvse.exe. (It looks like it's MiniBin.) If, though, the continual redrawing returns even without these or e.g. any new program also running, I'll report back. Otherwise, I think I'm now happy to upgrade to the "pro" version.
