as title.

I've searched the net and the only thing I found is using CTRL+INS to open a new tab.

Thanks

If you are using the ribbon, the home tab has a tab button; with the menu use File/New Tab. Once the tab bar is visible you can double-click on empty space on the tab bar to open a new tab.

With the ribbon you can right-click the Tab button and add it to the Quick Access toolbar (on the title bar).

The pro and ultimate versions have an option to always show the tab bars but I do not see it in the lite version.

Nikos, something weird: When I open a new tab in x2 lite a Control Panel window is opened, this does not happen on ultimate. The lite version I have on this PC is the one from the Windows store (3.3.0.2) in case that makes a difference. I installed x2 lite 3.3.0.3 downloaded from the x2 site and it also opens CP when opening a new tab.

It was not a weird tab but a separate Control Panel window... but after rebooting I's not happening anymore. Oh, well.
