Which type of date exactly does "Newer" refer to under Mark > Sync Wizard > Select items that are > Newer (checkbox)?
For example in this scenario:
Say you have the identical Word doc on your computer, and on an external hard drive. Then you make changes to the one on your computer. Then you copy the one from the external drive onto your computer (in a different folder). Which one is considered newer? Either one could be: the one that was always on the computer is newer in the sense of more recently altered, but the one brought in from the hard drive is newer in the sense of more recently placed onto the computer.

newer is always in terms of date modified (more recent)
