As the forum seems to be on hollydays, here I come to disturb during your sunny days at the beach.
I maintain a simple website that serves basically as my online CV (no personal data collection, no e-commerce). Recently, I've read that Google is going to block websites without certificate so, since I don't want to be bother to much with this issue, which are your recomentations?
- Is is really important in my case?
- Should I buy one SSL Certificate?
- Is there any way to get one for free?

if you are not selling anything, I wouldn't worry about google. There is a way to get free https certs from letsencrypt (google for details) but it requires a compatible web service provider -- you need to check with your supplier.

Well, it's not compatible with my provider and getting the cheapest option would double the price of my actual hosting plan.
I'm going to leave things as they are for now hoping that Google won't block my website...
