how to disable double click to rename a file in xplorer?

Does xplorer (either version or professional) have an option which overrides windows most annoying feature, which is, one one clicks on a file in the file manager, twice, no matter how slow the second click is, the file rename menu becomes active.

This problem is discussed in many places

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... cb79ffec39

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/146 ... ng-a-click

and so on. It seems this is build-into windows file manager itself.

But my question is, does xplorer itself have an option to turn this off? i.e. if a file is selected one (i.e. file name is already highlighted), then putting the mouse again on the file name, will NOT bring up the rename file text box, no matter how long the time between the clicks, I do not want the rename file text box to come up at all. If I want to to rename a file, I can right-click on it. But not double click to rename.

sure, see TOOLS > OPTIONS menu, Window property page, clear the setting "allow slow double click to rename"

Thanks. This is the best feature ever in xplorer. This will insure I will never use windows own file manager again and will only use xplorer. many people complain about this issue in windows file manager. I guess they did not know about xplorer!
