Winrar 6.10 Context Menu options

Winrar recently released version 6.10 which includes changes to improve the right click context menus in Windows 11. It works in Windows File Explorer but in Xplorer2 Winrar is missing from the context menu. Reverted to Winrar v6.02 and it works fine.

Xplorer v5.1.03 64 bit on Windows 11 Pro.

xplorer2 in win11 shows the old school context menu. Are you saying that winrar doesnt add any commands there?
have you tried pressing SHIFT while right clicking?

Winrar just doesn't appear in the context menu with Winrar 6.10. But now having gone back to 6.02 which works I can't do any more checks at the moment, sorry.

As for the extension I don't use compressed folders and already have your registry patch to disable them.... much prefer a separate program for zip. And always use .zip format, not .rar.

at any rate xplorer2 cannot control what appears in the context menu, so if you need a solution please mention this problem to winrar support

... xplorer² users seem to prefer solid, mature software solutions.

Anyway, the solution for the problem at hand can be found in the change log:

3. "Legacy context menus" option in "Settings/Integration" dialog
can be used in Windows 11 if WinRAR commands are missing in
"Show more options" Windows legacy context menu or in context menus
of third party file managers. If WinRAR commands are already present
here, keep "Legacy context menus" option turned off to prevent
duplicating them.

Enable this option and xplorer² will have the WinRAR menu again.
xplorer² is not Windows 11, xplorer² is a third party file manager.
