Tree Expanded View Not Saved

I want to have the Desktop folder remain expanded in my tree. I do that and save the settings. However when I reopen xplorer2, the Desktop folder shows as collapsed.
Any suggestions what I may be doing differently?

if you use the quick access list, then desktop stays collapsed to begin with. THe only way out would be to disable the QAL from settings

Got it! So, to have the Desktop expanded on each opening of xplorer2, the QAL should be turned off. Since I use the QAL more, the Desktop node stays collapsed. I can live with that.
