In the F2 dialog for multiple files (bulk rename), the last parameters and text are redisplayed each time the dialog is opened.

Except when the "target name template" is empty. Then the dialog comes back with the value of the previous non-blank string instead. Could this be made to recall the actual last operation's value of blank instead?

More of an inconvenience than an issue really, but would save me having to erase it when I'm doing more of the same.

it sounds simple but sadly it can't be fixed because xplorer2 in general doesn't save "empty" strings in the history list
you could SAVE the set of parameters and that should be remembered

ps. Actually it DOES remember empty strings too (I just tested), do you have the latest version 5.3?

My bad, I was indeed using an older version. Straightened that out and "to" string as a blank is remembered now.
