Xplorer Not Responding

Post by Grumpy Badger51 »

For the last week or so, my Xplorer2 (64 bit) program stalls upon startup.

I get the screen of my drive, along with the tip of the day, but everything stalls after that.

I've tried reinstalling the program, but the problem continues.

thanks in advance

As Roseanna Danna used to say, Never Mind.

This time I uninstalled the program before reinstallation, rather than reinstalling on top of the old program.

All seems to be well

the most common startup problem is xplorer2 trying to read an unavailable (network?) folder
in such a case you can tell xplorer2 to open a safe location without any tabs etc using a command line as such

Code: Select all

xplorer2_64.exe /1 /T C:\

Can you explain how to use the command line as below please.

When I try that Windows says its not recognised.

'xplorer2_64.exe' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
