Most Menus missing!

Moved x2 Ult to my new PC a few days ago.
Was able to bring over my settings including custom layouts etc.

Firstly, a relatively minor problem:
Only problem I found was that I just could not get x2 to open my own "default", it will always open in the "Default".
I use this shortcut to open x2 "C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_ult\xplorer2_64.exe" / S:Brians_default
That should work, but it don't - regardless I get the standaed default, I can manually swith to mine and it changes fine.

OK so now the biggy, I opened x2 a couple of hours ago and yikes, no menus.
Well not exactly all I get is File, Home, View & Workbench. Howevert none of these 'drop down, I can only use the Icons below them.
I have never seen that before.

I can't change the quick access other than choose one of the Icons.
Have tried re-installing latest version, (keeping settings & licence key), also with previous version to no avail.

I have backed up my settings.reg and will try clean instal.

it looks like the ribbon toolbar is on, you can get back the menus as explained here

as for the default layout, see if the layout Brians_default exists under WINDOW menu and if it is spelled exactly the same

Re the layout, yep name is exactly the same as in the registry Brians_default. It works fine in x2 if I choose it.

I did the reinstall deleting all the settings (after exporting them).

Now mostly OK, had to re-organise my custom toolbar, and now it is stuck with small icons? (choice ticked and grayed out)
