compressed folders in win11

some experimental win11 builds support 7z/rar compressed folders natively

has anyone tried the feature? does it work with xplorer2?

It started displaying .7z like a folder.
I thought it came with the last xplorer2 update.
I only exclude .rar in settings.

so it works ok? can you add (compress) files in as well?

No.
For 7z I can neither add or delete.
I can drag files out.

is it the same in windows explorer?

In windows explorer:
It will open a 7z archive.
Drag out of the archive.
Will not allow updating (drag in, add or delete).
