Steps to reproduce:
1. Set Xplorer2 to use the ribbon.
2. Start NVDA.
3. Focus Xplorer2, and press alt.
4. Try to up/down arrow through the ribbon.
Expected behavior:
Ribbons are honestly fairly hated among most screen reader users, but they do at least normally read. If you want to see how one should read, open up wordpad with NVDA running and press alt.

Re: Ribbon nonfunctional with NVDA
the ribbon used is a standard windows control so it does offer accessibility
i just tried it with Narrator, and it talks about it, so it works
you must press ALT key for ribbon accessibility to work

Re: Ribbon nonfunctional with NVDA
Okay so this is fascinating, I have a standard menu bar in my main xplorer2 windows but a ribbon in the scrap container?
In either case even if it's in the main window it doesn't read with NVDA. I press alt, and use up and down arrow. Nothing is announced, but I do hear windows ding noises when I'm at the edge of the ribbon. You can get NVDA here, https://nvaccess.org/download
. It's probably a better reader to test with, virtually no one uses Narator and I think it's possible Microsoft may toss it at some point, it's in maintenance mode now.

Re: Ribbon nonfunctional with NVDA
ribbon can be set to either window independently
to switch off the ribbon, use the first menu command under its FILE tab, which is to the leftmost
you may need to use the Narrator to access this command
alternatively press ALT, then F, then S keys
