Root/Current (was Ctrl+Q in 2x) equivalent in x2?

Post by dft1 »

I recently started using x2 0.59. I like to switch to the current directory instead of the root when switching drives. Is there a way to get this behavior in x2?

only if you type c: in the addressbar (without the backslash)
there's no keyboard equivalent

Thanks.

Wish list: add a registry switch so that we can get this functionality with the Ctrl+shift+drive letter shortcuts. (In 2x, I always had this set to current and found this to be a time saver.) :wink:

... a.k.a.: a keystroke saver !
& usage will be more obvious in a future version with drive buttons :twisted:
{ nar~, take note ;) }

PS: I only figured out what that 2x button did, yesterday :o
