My apologies. I had to do a fresh install, not over write. When I did over write, the new beta or old would come up as it felt like it. After the fresh install, it works great. Seeeee, I DID screw up LOL!!! BUT, why do the network files load slow, or appear to ?
Thanks ; )

Hiya, the reading seems slow. I have the drives mapped. If I click on the drives from the drive dropdown , they open pretty quick. If I open thru network places, it's slow..using XP home.. if that helps ; ) hey, how soon can I buy it ?? LOL!! One other problem, maybe related. If I open the network files on my laptop FROM my desktop.. my exe files won't copy, execute or anything. Maybe a settings wrong ; ) I'm NOT an expert ya know LOL!!
Thanks again ; )

in general, it could be that there's a problem with your system rather than with x2. So if windows explorer is slow where x2 is slow, it is not x2's fault! Of course if you see x2 being slow where explorer isn't then please let me know
