Hi found a small bug, i think

When you press F3 over a file without an editor2 instance opened, the status bar of xplorer2 says "Cannot launch editor/viewer; check command lines in Tools | Options" and editor2 doesn't run.

If an editor2 instance is opened, the file is edited (viewed).

Can you supply the command line you have used in the options. And the version of x2 you are using?

deleting registry settings works!

you probably had a path to Editor2 in the registry which wasn't correct (any more).
Deleting the reg keys 'fixed' that problem
