Hey guys-

I like xplorer2 a lot. I do have a question however...

What I want is to have xplorer2 my only file manager. Like for example, If i were to click My Documents on my start menu, xplorer2 would open instead of windows explorer. Is that possible? Thanx for any help.

that's not helpful. what do you mean by adding a verb to the folder file type? the FAQ doesnt got into depth on how to do that.

I'm sure this appears elswhere, but try this:

Start | My Documents | Tools | Folder options | File Types
scroll down to Folder (in File type column)
Advanced | New...
in Action dialog box, type: browse with x2 (or description of choice)
Browse... (to location of Explorer2)
Select, Open,
{append space+"%1" to commandline},
OK, OK, OK

Oops, I forgot a detail ...
You should append "%1" to the command which appears in the
Application used to perform action: dialog box (see below)
or x2 will not alway open at the folder you intend
The quotation marks are important to include so space characters in pathnames are recognised as intended,
and you should separate the "%1" from what precedes it with a space.

revised summary steps: ________________________________________

• Start | My Documents | Tools | Folder options | File Types
  scroll down to Folder (in File type column)
  Advanced | New...
  in Action dialog box, type: browse with x2 (or description of choice)
  Browse... (to location of Explorer2)
  Select, Open,
  edit the command which drops into the dialog box to append "%1"
  (result will be in the form:
  "C:\YourPath\xplorer2.exe" "%1"
  or
  "C:\YourPath\xplorer2_UC.exe" "%1"
  perhaps something like:
  "C:\Program Files\ZabKat\xplorer2\xplorer2_UC.exe" "%1"
  Then "OK" your way out of the dialog boxes.

Sorry about the omission
