Hi Nikos;
Is ther a way to make Editor2 Unicode save files with a txt extension as a default?
If I create a text file named "Test" and want to save it, I have to type "Test.txt" instead of just "Test".
I have Editor2 associated with text files in Windows XP's Folder Options.
Thanks, Wade

since ed2 is for generic use, it doesn't automatically provide a file extension. In a future version i could add a registry switch that provided a default extension when none was given

Thanks Nikos;
If you want to make the change in future version it would be fine.
It's not a big deal, I just always forget to add txt to the end of the file name.
I was really just wondering if it is an option already.
Thanks, Wade
