Accessing Rule Defs via keyboard?

Post by longfellow »

Is there a hotkey combo which will take me from the Find Files or folders dialog to the Rule definition dialog?

Specifically, how do I access the Add New/Delete/Properties/Up/Down icons (to the right of Additional Rules) via keyboard. Alt+R doesn't do it, and I can't seem to Tab into them.

I've checked the manual, but no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

this is an example of a true keyboard junky :)
unfortunately, there are no keyboard equivalents for these buttons
d-click on the list will add a new rule

once you have rules, <del> removes and <enter> edits

Guilty as charged! :D

OK, this is no big: I can just save a 'default' rule and use ALT+R, ENTER to edit it on-the-fly. Thanks.

But I am curious (and please note, I ask for information only, this is neither a complaint nor a critique): Everything in x2 is so keyboard-friendly, what makes these icons so 'special' that they are mouse-only access?

Follow-up:

I see that v1002 adds these keyboard shortcuts.

You've made my day! :)

On behalf of keyboard junkies everywhere, I thank you!
