Hi
Many times a day I double click a desktop link to Diary.txt, and by default Windows Notepad is launched, and sees the first four characters are
.LOG
and immediately goes to the far end of the document and appends Date and Time, and then waits for me to append my next pearl of wisdom.
Editor2 does not respond to this .LOG command.
I find that a desktop link does half the job given a target of
"C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_lite\editor2.exe" /L:99999 D:\Diary.txt
That opens the file and takes me to the far end, and does not complain that I so far only have 1234 lines. It does not however append Date and Time.
Is there some other command line argument, or registry hack, that will automatically append Date and Time without my manual intervention ?
Regards
