Inactive pane item color coding problem on selected items...

I noticed an inactive pane item color coding problem--the color coding doesn't work for highlighted items in the inactive pane.  Can this be fixed?

Or alternatively, add a custom color option for the inactive pane highlight.  So users can specify a dull highlight color for the inactive pane hightlighted items.  Plus it helps maintain visual indication of what has been selected even though the pane is inactive.

Or better yet, make both options possible.
