Error while saving hidden text files

I have some project files which I have to keep hidden from my classmates. Xplorer2 doesn't have any problem with those as I have it's option set to show hidden files. And since only I use it, those are almost completely hidden.

The problem is that when I open a hidden text file for editing, I am unable to save it. It gives the error:

Code: Select all

I/O error accessing "... \filename.txt": The handle is invalid.
I have to remove the hiding attribute before saving and then apply it again. Is there a way to avoid that?

Cheers,
Levi.

So, erm... any solution that can be manually done, editing config or something like that? Or can we expect a fix sometime later? *looks hopeful*

Cheers,
Levi.

my verdict on that is ... let it be!
if you are sure you know what you're doing overwritting somebody's hidden files, then you can temporarily change the file attributes with xplorer2, save and then make the file hidden again
