How about persistant column settings? (Not per dir., but per run of x2)
How about no gridlines?
Are there reg hacks to do this?
(These are somewhat merely eye candy, but persistant column selection at least is almost manditory for useability. Its the only reason I'm still using 2x...)

It is my job to comfort the disturbed,
and to disturb the comfortable.
and to disturb the comfortable.
column selection will come of course
i don't use detailed view so it's not a personal priority
still the most important columns are well placed, especially if the panes are arranged top/bottom -- a small consolation there!
for gridlines, just delete the lvsExtendedStyle registry values and you'll get it back on

To remove gridlines
Set [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\xplorer2\Right pane settings] lvsExtendedStyle from 17441 to 17440 to remove gridlines. Also do the same for "left pane settings".
