delete folder

Post by daanh »

Hi, if I select a folder in the tree, I can't delete it using the delete button. Is this a setting?

Thanks, Daan

there is a setting that lets you do what you want...

Hi, this option is enabled, so that's not it.

Then you need yuo find out what is locking that folder... Unlocker, WhoLockMe, LockHunter all show you this.

Does your tree pane keep focus after selecting the folder? It should, otherwise pressing the delete button won't apply to the folder you'd want to delete. To maintain focus on the selected folder, Tools - Options... - Window - 'Automatically shift focus to view after activation' should be unchecked.
I always have this option checked, but if I uncheck this one, I can't reproduce what you're saying.
