You should really overhaul it.

x² does not have a text editor either, it is an external application. The other way around: Windows Explorer comes with notepad.exe.
Drivebar
Vista/7 have it as a part of the breadcrumbs bar.
Column handler support for vista & windows 7
Of course, Windows Explorer provides it, too.

i also think some things need to be redone, their is a lot of old references and images in the manual, i realize it will take a while to get every thing up to date, but it should be done.
