What is the name of the token for the the name of the file in inactive pane?
$N always substitues the fullname of the file in active pane.
Thanks.

I want to define a tool (wincmp3) to compare text files selected in both panes, with different names.
...\Compare It!\wincmp3.exe $L\$N $R\$??
Nikos, for the inactive pane, a single one to return full path of the selected file would be enough, for me of course.
I will accept even one starting with €.
Thanks.

i'll have a think about it
if there's just one token for the inactive focus then it has to be something that holds the full path. On the other hand it would only be useful for the normal window (i.e. not for the scrap that doesn't have the concept of a "current folder")
so perhaps the best thing would have to have this $Q token that holds the fullname (no path) of the inactive view focused item, which will only be useful for the main window in dual mode.
note that already the $L/R/I are only valid for the main window. Any attempt to use them in a scrap frame context (either addressbar command or script) will be in vain since they are just ignored
