Show files within folders?

Is there a quick way to show all files contained within a group of folders?

Sure there is. Select the folders then click File | Browse Flat. That will open up a scrap pane with all the files in the selected folders. A pretty handy feature. Enjoy.

And an useful tip after that. if you want this list of files, with all columns that are available on that moment in you scrap window, into a spreadsheet (or other file), use Ctrl-A, Ctrl-P and use paste in the application you like.
